Grassfed Heritage Chicken Broth

This broth is thick and chunky from heritage chickens raised on pasture. These meatbirds are the roosters hatched and harvested on Melissahof. Melissahof poultry are certified as pasture-raised through the American Grassfed Association.

Poultry keepers across the Cowboy State purchase the female chicks, from Melissahof Hatchery, as egg layers for their flocks. The rooster chicks remain on the farm, raised on pasture and are harvested for meat. In this way, these unwanted roosters reduce food waste as they connect us through holistic eats.
