Put a chicken in the crockpot

Melissahof heritage chicken are perfectly sized to fit in a crockpot or instapot. The most common way Melissa prepares chicken is as follows:

1. pull it out of the freezer the day before to thaw in the refrigerator,

2. in the morning stick it in a crockpot with some water, salt and pepper.

3. That evening, shred the now cooked chicken into enchiladas or a curry chicken salad!
